The Town of Ashby is requesting bids for technical and engineering services as described below under
section III, Project Specifications for Harris Road Culvert in Ashby, MA.
This Bid Request presents a general proposed sequence of work with an expectation that responding firms will express their own project approaches. Bidders will be evaluated based upon their demonstrated
experience with scientific river assessments and data collection and engineering culvert replacements that meet the MA River and Stream Crossing Standards, project examples, technical and management approach to this project, timeline for completed work, and cost effectiveness.
All questions related to the bid must be submitted in writing by 5 PM, September 5, 2025 to mdaughraty@ashbyma.gov. Town of Ashby will email responses to questions to all bidders by 5 PM, September 9, 2025.

Please submit all required documentation for this set fee bid in the amount not to exceed $176,000 for design, engineering and all required state and local permitting for the culvert replacement on Harris Road, Ashby, MA 01431.
The Town reserves the right to reject any or all quotes, in whole or in part, in the best interest of the Town.
