Land Use Agent
Town of Ashby
The Town of Ashby is seeking a part-time Land Use Agent to be its principle planning resource. The Agent would be responsible for planning projects focused on priority planning efforts and assisting town officials with issues involving planning, zoning, wetland protection and community development.
Duties require a bachelor’s degree with specialization in land use and environmental planning; two or more years experience in a municipal planning department; knowledge of Massachusetts zoning laws, wetland and riverfront protection laws, rural economic development and agricultural zoning; or any equivalent combination of education and experience. Salary: up to $10,000 per year commensurate with experience and education.
