Assessor’s Office Hours Adjusted October 7th-10th

 


The Assessor’s Office will be closed:

  • Tuesday October 8th
  • Wednesday October 9th (including Wednesday evening hours).

The office will be open on Thursday, October 10th from 9:00am – 12:00pm.

The Town Clerk office hours are changing the week of October 7th – 10th to the following:

  • Monday (7th): 8am to 12noon
  • Tuesday (8th): 8am to 12noon
  • Wednesday (9th): 8am to 5pm (no office hours 5pm to 8pm)
  • Thursday (10th): 8am to 12noon

ASHBY’S POWER SUPPLY PROGRAM LOCKS IN NEW RATE FOR TWO YEARS

 


The Town of Ashby has signed a twenty-four month contract with its current supplier, First Point Power. Beginning with the November 2024 meter reads, the Ashby Community Choice Power Supply Program will have a new rate of $0.13107 per kWh.

North Middlesex Regional School District Seeking Ashby Community Representative on Finance Subcommittee

TOWNSEND — The North Middlesex Regional School District (NMRSD) School Committee is seeking an Ashby community representative to serve on the NMRSD Finance Subcommittee.  

The Subcommittee is responsible for making recommendations to the School Committee regarding relevant financial matters such as the proposed budget and projected revenue, budget transfers and any significant mid-year budget impacts. 

The Subcommittee also evaluates capital needs throughout the district by managing and maintaining a five-year plan and providing the School Committee with oversight on capital priorities.  

The Subcommittee meets virtually at least once a month, typically on a weekday morning.  

To be considered for the Ashby community representative position, email a letter of interest to Robin Eibye at reibye@nmrsd.org by Oct. 4. Letters of interest should include any relevant budgeting experience.
