The Town of Ashby is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Administrative Assistant to the Chief of Police who, under the general supervision of the Chief, will provide a full range of complex staff assistance as well as administrative and analytical support to the Chief and the Department. This key position serves as liaison between the Chief of Police, Police staff, Town management and staff, the general public and outside groups and agencies, requiring specialized knowledge of law enforcement operations, policies and procedures and the use of considerable discretion in handling sensitive materials.
