Townsend Road Closed From Greenville Rd To The Townsend Line

 

Monday 08/29 thru Wednesday 08/31 MASS DOT will be closing Townsend Road, Route 119, from Greenville Road to the Townsend line starting at 7am. The road should reopen by 4pm. Detour signs will be in place.

Early Voting Available For State Primary, Aug 27 - Sept 1

 

Early voting is available for the September 6, 2022 State Primary. Vote at the Town Clerk’s office from August 27th to September 1 at the following day/times:

• Saturday, 10am-2pm
• Monday – Thursday, 8am-12pm

Looking For Volunteers To The Ashby Elementary School Building Committee By August 31, 2022

 

The North Middlesex Regional School Committee has voted to form an Ashby Elementary School Building Committee.

The committee is looking to fill two community member positions and one alternate member position with Ashby citizens. Based on Massachusetts School Building Authority guidelines, these positions should be filled by someone who is knowledgeable in the educational mission and function of an elementary school and/or have experience in architecture, engineering, or construction.

Meetings are expected to be held virtually once or twice a month for multiple years. If you would like to be considered for a community member position on the AES Building Committee, please email June McNeil, AES Building Committee Chairperson, with your experience, commitment level, and desire by Wednesday, August 31, 2022.
