SUNDAY JULY 2nd
Starting at 1PM, Ashby will host an OLD-FASHIONED "VINTAGE" BASEBALL GAME at the ballfield near the Ashby Elementary School.

The Mudville Baseball Club (upper) of Holliston, MA will take on the Woodstock Hilltoppers (lower) from Woodstock, CT.  Play will be based on the "Massachusetts Rules" drawn up in 1858 when baseball was emerging as America's Favorite Pastime!

Admission to the game is free and will include an Ice Cream Social courtesy of the 873 Cafe, with music by Q THA MUZIK after the game.

MONDAY JULY 3rd

Independence Day and Ashby's 250th will be celebrated with the classic "NIGHT BEFORE THE 4TH" at Allen Field.
Gates open at 4PM and admission is free.  A donation to the Ashby Fire Department is appreciated, and will enter you into a drawing to help light the bonfire!

There will be the traditional chicken BBQ (advance tickets recommended, call 978-386-5502). Hamburgers, hot dogs, fries, chili, popcorn, and ice cream will be available.

Festivities will include the Ashby Minutemen, Ashburnham Light artillery and the 1812 Overture with cannon salute.  Games will include a bounce house, obstacle course, climbing wall and much more!

Music will be provided by The Ashboys™ from 4:00-7:30.  The town band concert will begin at 7:30, followed by the bonfire at sunset.
