North Middlesex Regional High School Building Project Forum

Community Forum for North Midddlesex Regional High School Building Project, Wednesday, November 20, 2013 at Ashby Library. We need your input as we examine options that will result in an efficient high school design that maximizes the site and creates a positive and productive learning environment. Topics at the forum will include: 
  • Auditorium and science labs 
  • Community amenities and athletic facilities 
  • Effect of new school on property values and community reputation

Part Time Dispatcher Position is Available

Ashby Police Department – Part Time Public Safety Dispatchers

The Ashby Police Department is currently seeking applicants for the position of Part-Time Civilian Public Safety Dispatcher.  Responsibilities include but are not limited to; receiving emergency and non-emergency calls, dispatching Police/Fire/EMS personnel, data entry into a records management system. 

Applicants must have; HS diploma or GED, availability and willingness to work all shifts including weekends and holidays.  Those who possess certifications in E911, EMD, CPR, and CJIS certifications, and prior experience are preferred.  Excellent communication skills including verbal and written, basic computer skills, and the ability to multi-task are required.  Applicants must pass a background and CORI check prior to employment.

These positions are part-time and the starting salary is currently under union negotiation with the Town.  Letters of interest and resumes will be accepted until the position is filled.
